Night Safari
The family went together, the trip was okay I guess but really expensive. Not only were the tickets expensive, one bottle of mineral water costed three bucks and one Ben & Jerry's single scoop was like six bucks or something. Most of the photos taken were pitch black 'cause it was really dark and we cannot use flash, so I don't have any pictures of animals. The pictures of the leopard and lorris are taken from the explanatory board, it gives of light. Mmm anyway, Night Safari was cool, I really had this Survivor Singapore feeling :D First we watched this performance, the tribal people (don't know real or fake) came out and started shouting in some kind of weird language I don't even know if it really exists, and then they played with fire, whooo I could feel the heat. Went on to watch the Animal Show, which was rather entertaining 'cause the host was super lame. Haha, the animals were so cute okay, but er, see no touch. After that was the tram ride, was quite scary 'cause I couldn't see any boundaries between the tram and the animals, and I was sitting on the outer seat. It was up close and personal with the animals man! I was so scared some crocodile would bite me or some elephant would crush me, but I decided to trust Singapore! Yeah, we went on to walk on our own after the 3.2km ride. By then I was all tired so I didn't really appreciate the animals. There was this bat trail and I didn't dare to go in :( I thnk I'm damn timid when it comes to these things. We were tired after all the walking in the dark so we left for home at midnight. I think the Zoo rocks more :D
